John of God - The Buddha House -Abadiânia Lodging
If you are on
a spiritual quest in Abadiânia, then perhaps a traditional pousada is not the
best choice. I felt right at home at the Buddha House with fellow seekers of
truth and enlightenment. The simple accommodations were clean and comfortable
and there are ways to help the community, like teaching children English.
The
owners take donations and help feed the community. The amounts of spirits here
is also astounding. The videos show the
rooms and courtyards as well as the kitchen. They also show local children
chanting Buddhist songs, and some volunteer opportunities while staying at this
hidden spiritual mecca. Enjoy!
It is also a place filled with spirits if you want to experience a piece of a healing angel.
